Typography 1 — Vintage Posters
Analyzing vintage rock posters and album covers for their typographic styles, fonts, and type faces. Discussing how they differed from the type of hand painted signs that preceded them.
Typographic Web Design Links — Free Sites
While many sites claim to have free fonts or the ability to help you design a font of your own making, few compare to the experience I had creating an awesome web design and UX project using Fontshare.com, a free fonts service launched by the Indian Type Foundry (ITF).
I’ve also had a great experience using dafont.com, where multiple graphic designers are able to post their custom-designed fonts and even get donations for their designs. However, many of these fonts are not CSS/HTML friendly, so use at your own caution. I have found they are great for working with CNCs and Cricuts, on the other hand.

Intro to Color Theory—Vol. 1
Scientifically speaking, color is light. There is a physical aspect which pertains to a color’s physics and perception. There is a psychological aspect which encompasses color psychology, expressive color, and color intuition. And lastly, a chemical aspect which refers to color media (traditional media, such as pigments, dyes, inks vs. electronic media i.e. digital formats).
To the left, you will see the color spectrum as it appears when white light is refracted, as is what happens when light passes through a prism. The hues gradate into one another. The white light containing all the spectral hues is a very small part of the electromagnetic spectrum.
